Lookout Farm - Graphic Design and Photo Illustration
The owners of Lookout Farm Brewing & Cider Company reached out for design help. Located at the Belkin Family Lookout Farm in South Natick, Massachusetts, the new cidery needed a distinctive look for their debut product, Farmhouse Blend.
Andrew worked with owners Jay and Amy to fashion a unique design that represents the New England tradition of family farming on one of the oldest continuously operating farms in the United States. He created a weathered, hand-carved wooden effect for the logo and a striking illustration of a vintage tractor for use as the signature elements of Lookout Farm's packaging and marketing items.
He lent his expertise in pre-press to see the project through from concept to print, coordinating with printers to ensure the final labels, bottle crowns and cardboard carriers were reproduced at the highest standards and perfectly captured the artistic intention.
Andrew has since created new designs for a number of hard cider varieties for Lookout Farm, collaborating with illustrator John Kenzie on several new blends. He has also designed and assisted in the production of marketing materials including hats, t-shirts, coasters, pint glasses, business cards and posters.
